Lutz plans to build a championship program for men’s basketball

Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi men’s basketball program is working to prepare a new group of players including a few returning teammates. Graduate student Myles Smith, senior Simeon Fryer, and senior De’ Lazarus Keys are their three returners for the 2021-2022 season. 

The men’s basketball program will kick off the season by playing Texas Lutheran on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at the American Bank Center starting at 7 p.m. The game will be streamed live on the Islanders Digital Network for those unable to attend in person.
