Once A Wildcat, Always a Wildcat
Come watch your favorite Wildcat in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series every Wednesday on Disney Plus.
After a year of waiting, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series returned to Disney Plus on July 27 for season three.
The Wildcats are back together at camp as they say goodbye to East High for the summer.

Seventeen Magazine reported that the cast will be putting on Disney’s Frozen and fans should look forward to seeing familiar guest stars, new storylines, songs, and more. Jesse Tyler Ferguson, a Modern Family star, will be sharing a scene with Olivia Rodrigo, who plays Nini, as they bond by asking each other questions. Rodrigo’s character will be on a road trip with her moms, and this season will allow her character to act as a guest star while giving the other characters a chance to stand out.
Recently, the series creator and executive producer, Tim Federle said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that Rodrigo won’t be returning for season four and will be focusing on her music career.
“I think she’s ready to explore the world outside the halls of East High,” Federle said. “[It will] give her character a proper sendoff while also leaving room for other characters to really step into the fray and step into the spotlight. Personally, it’s a joy to see Olivia’s music explode in such a big way. It was so fun to have her back and reminisce on the beginning.”
Fans will also see Meg Donnelly (Disney’s Zombies Franchise), Jason Earls (Hannah Montana), Jojo Siwa, and last but not least, Corbin Bleu will be making an appearance. For those who are asking what we should expect from this new season, Cosmopolitan said the characters will not only play songs from Frozen but iconic music from Camp Rock and songs from the High School Musical franchise. There’s a possibility that fans will see more teen drama happening as these teens are together for the summer and the tension builds up.
“The characters are going on this journey of self-discovery, figuring out the things that make them happy and what they love and what their passions are,” Larry Saperstein (Big Red) told Decider. “They bring out the best in each other and see the best in each other, which is really important for where they’re at in their lives.”
Make sure to check out High School Musical: The Musical: The Series season three as it premieres every Wednesday on Disney Plus to follow the new Wildcats on their summer journey at camp.
