Preparation for potential violence after election

Cities nationwide have been bracing for potential violence in the wake of results from the presidential election. Officer Perez with the Corpus Christi Police Department commented on how that might look on the streets of Corpus Christi. “We were concerned at first, but there haven’t been any planned protests we heard of.” Perez mentioned that while the CCPD felt the need to increase police presence at the courthouse, individuals from the department have not organized elsewhere.
